It Might As Well Be Monday !

You have to call it something, so let's call it Monday. Probably the least popular day of the week, it has it's place. It buffers Tuesday, the knuckle down day of the week from Sunday, the day of rest. I think "Mundane Day" has a better ring, but that's just me.

We have two early nominees for this week's "Cat Ass Trophy". MSNBC's Don Imus of the "Imus In The Morning Show" and Perennial (A) Al Sharpton.

Don Imus, although sometimes acid tongued, is usually a witty and humorous type. He and his wife run a free camp for children with cancer and though he sometimes nears the line, he normally doesn't cross it. Over the weekend, he referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as a bunch of "nappy headed ho's." Not real bright, Mr Imus.

Al Sharpton, who yells "racist" if you ask for black coffee, is a different story. He along with Jesse Jackson, is always there to jump on the ebony bandwagon like a fly on manure. Imus went on Al Sharpton's radio show today to apologize for his stupid remark and Sharpton said to him, "Le me ax you a question. Are you going to resign from you show?" Imus replied, "No." (You 'da man, Al!)

Al and Jesse are just riding on the coat-tails of MLK. They are no where even close to being the leader he was.  Ax... that always just gets to me... Not that I'm perfect by any means... but seriously, people....

Honestly, yes Imus remarks where insulting , but if it where a black journalist saying the same thing, it wouldn't have even given anyone a rise.  I by far am not racist, but as the saying goes what's good for the goose is good for the gander. On another note if everyone would just be themselves and not try to imitate jargon from everyone else perhaps we would actually sound intelligible. I don't care who you are, intelligence is a gift wish more people would appreciate and use it . (Hugs) from this little Easter egg (winks) Indigo
