Jimmy's Journal - Sponsored By.................

I was thinking (again ?),....what I need for this journal is a sponsor. Not like the obligatory garbage we're forced to have on top of every journal, but my own sponsor. You know, like..."Jimmy's Journal is brought to you by Johnny Walker Black...Once you go Black, you can't get credit."

Ok ! Maybe that one won't fly, but something befitting. Or maybe Mercedes Benz ! I could do a commercial driving to AREA 51 in my new Mercedes Benz drinking a glass of Johnny Walker Black. Ok, ....this may take a little more thought, but you get the idea.

Maybe I could get an agent....nah, he'd probably have me endorsing Depends. I can see it now..."Would Jimmy date a girl over 80? I don't know...Depends." I've got to think a little more about this.

The Pictures: Speaking of Mercedes, the new prototype Mercedes Benz has been shown to the public and like most Mercedes, it's beautiful. A sleek, hard-top convertible, with the wing-like doors and a body design that is fantastic. The only minor problem that I noticed is that, ...um, it doesn't have a steering wheel. It doesn't seem to have a gas peddle or brake peddle, either.

The reality of it all is that those minor little items have been replaced with a joy stick. Yeah, a joy stick! Just think about the poor bastard that's been saving his money for years and when he can finally afford to buy one, he has to take his kid with him so that he can get the damned thing home. See for yourselves.

The Hits Just Keep On Coming:

The Blonde and the Redhead

Two friends, a blonde and a redhead, are walking down the street and pass a flower shop where the redhead happens to see her boyfriend buying flowers.

She sighs and says, "Oh, crap, my boyfriend is buying me flowers again, for no reason." The blonde looks quizzically at her and says, "What's the big deal, don't you like getting flowers?"

The redhead says, "Oh sure, but he always has expectations after giving me flowers, and I just don't feel like spending the next three days on my back with my legs in the air."

The blonde says "Don't you have a vase?"

One Eyed Dog

A blonde and a brunette were walking down the street the brunette says "Look at that dog with one eye!!" So, the blonde puts her hand over one eye.

That's it for today my little roses. More tomorrow.

See, if you hadn't snoozed it could have been Jimmy's Journal brought to you my Julia's Midwest Vintage.  The best of times, the funniest of times, the only time worth reading or owning.  Course now I am closed, too sad.  Your still worth reading though my friend and your pictures are great.

There's no way I could drive that car like that!! No steering wheel or pedals?? No way! Is that the car of the future? Are we coming to that in all cars? I hope not.

That Mercedes is beautiful, until you look at the inside with the missing parts.  Maybe I was just looking at it with one eye?   ;-}  Anne
