Ah, yes, it's hump day, from the Latin "middilus weekus", a fond term used to describe that point during the week where one is wont to escape from the confines of one's abode and wander the country side in search of frivolity. One may possibly end up in AREA 51 at Krystel's Restaurant and Nightclub, where one may embibe a Scotch or two. If I see that "one", I'm gonna ask him to buy me a Scotch, also (you're sick ! I know.)
In a serious note, Don Herbert, better known as " Mr. Wizard" died today at the age of 89. I remember watching his show as a puppy and he was always an interesting person. Rest in peace, my friend !
Odds and Ends: Rosie O'Truck Driver reportedly stated in her blog that she has asspirations of being the replacement for Bob Barker, the retired host of "The Price Is Right". Fat chance !.... In Nascar, Dale Earnhardt Jr., has signed a five year deal to drive for Hendricks Motor Sports starting in 2008. Earnhardt will replace Kyle Busch. No word yet as to his number and sponsor yet, but I'm thinking Hendricks and Theresa Earnhardt, CEO of Dale Earnhardt Enterprises (DEI), will talk soon because word has it Kyle Busch is talking to DEI about driving for them and this would open the doors for the two teams to trade numbers and sponsors.... Oh, and Precious is still in jail, Britney's still flashing and Lindsey's still in rehab.
The Pictures: Some beautiful pictures from various sources, Mr. Wizard, Oback Alabama, and, well,... you know !

The Hits Just Keep On Coming: You Know You're Getting Old When:
The sight of a rubber glove makes you cringe. You sing along with the elevator music. You and your teeth don't sleep together. You try to straighten the wrinkles in your shirt and you realize you're not wearing one. You don't care where your wife goes as long as you don't have to go with her. You learn just exactly where your prostate is. A passing funeral procession pauses to see if you need a lift. Getting lucky means finding your car in the parking garage.
That's it for today, my little happy hour embibers. More tomorrow. See you tonight at Krystel's. If you see me wandering around strangely, kindly show me where I parked my car in the parking garage.
Stay Tuned !
