It's Time For The Media To Give It A Rest !

At a certain point, it's time to ease up on Britany Spears. Although she's obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed, she's a young woman under the normal strains and pressure of any divorced mother of two young children, let alone the microscopic daily examimations by the media and paparazzi. Any young person in her situation would surely make daily errors, and I think it's about time to find a new horse to beat. Although she needs a break from the spotlight, I believe she'll bounce back with a little maturity, her sometimes lack of common sense and inabilty to locate her underwear, notwithstanding.

The MTV awards were televised last evening. Britney Spears was the opening act and I recorded her performance. After watching the video a couple of times, I thought the song was good (althought lip-synched). As to her poise, I thought she looked very nervous and tentative. All in all, it wasn't her best performance. Then again, looking back at her trainwrecked life over the past year, in my opinion, it was'nt that bad, but that's just me.

This morning, after making my daily voyage around the Internet and media news sites, I was amazed to hear some of the reviews of Ms. Spears' performance. Almost every site I visited made comments about her weight and "flabby" body. Some of the catty remarks made by some of the media types (especially the women) makes me want to buy them all some mirrors. Maybe it's just me, but I'd be willing to bet that most people (especially men) would say that her "flabby" body's just fine. They also remarked that her lip-synching and dance steps were off beat and that she didn't seem to be trying hard enough.

What? The girl has the balls to get up and expose herself to the public after all the humiliation (although mostly self inflicted) she has suffered in the past year and you're going to tell me that she wasn't trying hard enough? I'd enjoy seeing the media (old, tired "flabby" bodies and all) get up and attempt the same thing under the same conditions. I'm not really a big fan of Britney Spears' music, but to me this is nit-picking to the "nth degree", ad nauseum.

The Pictures: I included a picture of Britney Spears today so that you might see for yourself. The outfit, although skimpy, is the same as any young female performer of that genre wears today. As to her weight and "flab", you be the judge. Also included today is the picture of "Christ the Redeemer" in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Rounding out today's pictures is the photograph af missing four year old Madeleine McCann, Schnozzy the baby anteater, some baby nile crocs and a few cryptic hellos.

The Hits Just Keep On Coming:

A blind man enters a bar and finds his way to a barstool. He yells out, "hey bartender, bring me a scotch and I'll tell you a blonde joke." The bar immediately falls absolutely quiet.

In a deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, sir, being that you are blind, I think you need to know three things. The bartender is a blonde girl, the owner of the bar is a blonde woman and I'm a six foot tall blonde woman with black belt in Karate. Now, think about it sir, do you really want to tell that blonde joke?"

The blind man pondered about it for a minute, then shook his head and declared, "Nah,.........not if I have to explain it three times."

That's it for today, my little honey dippers. More tomorrow.

Stay Tuned !

Personally, I'm tired of hearing about Brittney Spears and all her woes. And seeing her butt plastered all over everything. Everyone has their problems, just as she does. We just have less money and notarity. I'm also tired of Angelina, Brad and Jen. Ok, truth is, I really don't care.... what is printed probably isn't true.

Nope...I don't think she's flabby at all....I'd love to look that flabby.  BUT...I also don't think she has balls, as you say.  I think she's troubled.
I also feel sorry for stars and the BS they go thru with the papparazzi...and don't think "They knew what they were getting into...they deserve it".   No one deserves to be mistreated...no one.
(I'm in a mood)

There isn't a woman in the real world that wouldn't have a small bulge there after having 2 children. I'm no longer suprised with what the media thinks is news worthy. (Hugs) Indigo

While I am not a great fan of Brittany Spears, I was shocked to read the paper this morning.  It was stating how fat she was, b/c she was a size 10, LOL.

Well I wouldn't be upset having her body, poor flabby thing, LOL.  I am not sure if I have ever heard her sing, not my cup of tea but the media is just wicked the way they report things.
