Alright Monday, Let's Get Started !

Let's get this Monday started. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. A lot of things happened this weekend. First and foremost, my heart's out to the city of Greenburg, Kansas, who suffered a devastating tornado that wiped out ninety-five percent of the city and killing twelve people in the area, ten from Greenburg. I have learned that within the last two hours, they found someone alive today in the debris.

Street Sense won the Kentucky Derby going away under the rein of local jockey favorite, Calvin Borel. The colt had an outside starting position and was buried in 19th position in a field of 20 at the start of the race. Borel, with a little luck on the inside, found an unbelievable reserve in Street Sense, rode to the front and won going away. I can't wait until the Preakness in two weeks.

Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license. I wonder if they have room "service"?

The "General Lee", the red car they used in the "Dukes of Hazard" sold on Ebay for nearly 10 million dollars. My bid came up a little short of that price. Shithead's bid came closer 'cause he included a box of meow mix with his bid.

The Pictures: Faith Hill, who along with Tim McGraw, is today's featured artist. Some "unusual suspects" today with, hopefully, something for everyone.

Here's Faith Hill and Tim McGraw performing "Let's Make Love".

The Hits Just Keep On Coming: Thanks, Vivian !

From Larry the Cable Guy: A day without sunshine is like night. On the other hand, you have different fingers. Forty-two percent of all statistics are made up right on the spot. Ninety-nine percent of lawyers give the rest a bad name! He who laughs last thinks the slowest. Remember, half the people you know are below average. Support Bacteria, it's the only culture some people have! A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory. If you think nobody cares, try missing a few payments!

That's it for today, my little niblets. More tomorrow.

Stay Tuned !

If you had won the car, you would have had to video jumping into it through the window! You have NOT have been able to get out of it!!!!!

I saw on the news this morning where Paris thinks it was unfair. <sniff>

Tornados are like bad boys.... You know they are not good for you, but it's hard to take your eyes off it!  REally sad stuff... I've seen what they can do...

Thank goodness this day is over!

10 Million for a car? Sorry no matter what it was used for , I can think of thousands of better uses of that money.....As for the tornado, yes it was sad to see the loss and destruction. What the hell is wrong with Mother Nature? she is pissed and it shows! Loved the picture of the bandit cat with the racoons. I'm still smiling thinking about it. (Hugs) Indigo

How horrible this tornado was!  I heard it was like a cat 5.  I pray for all the people that lost everything.  As for what is wrong with Mother Nature???  Maybe GOD is trying to get our attention!  And a Happy Birthday to my big brother, Jim, who is also the greatest singer, guitar, and keyboard player I have ever heard!!!  Maybe I am just a little prejudice??????
